Family and Friends...

Founded in 1986, Mikutowski Woodworking is the definition of small but mighty. We specialize in handmade, high quality wooden jewelry boxes — solid hardwood, shaped by hand in North Eastern Wisconsin.

Many are shocked to learn the fine woodworking shop employs only four people to take raw lumber through the hands-on production process. Another two bring the finished product through invoicing, packing, and shipping — with customer service that matches the craftsmanship.

We never use stain. What you see is the natural grain of the wood — walnut's smoky brown, cherry's warm red, maple's pale gold and more. Every wooden jewelry box is one of a kind.

How to choose

Classic, Signature, or The One

As Danny works with each piece of wood, he knows when something stands out. Our tiers reflect the natural uniqueness of the grain, the extra time spent on detailed inlays and checker patterns, and the overall rarity of the finished box. Some pieces are beautifully simple, some feature exceptional wood or added craftsmanship, and a few become truly special one-of-a-kind boxes.
