A truly unique piece as the various colors and line patterns are created as result of insects so every piece of wood "created" is one-of-a-kind. The lid is of Spalted Ebony another lovely extotic wood. While both are extremely challenging to work with, it's always rewarding to see a remarkable piece of wood turn into a beautiful jewelry box.
